RomulanMona Lisa gets a fisting
Introduction
My first proper go at trying TNG Romulan Androids. The aim of the deck is to grab one of the seeded Persistence of Memories. Kill CM by downloading Da Vinci who downloads Mona Lisa, play Persistence on Mona and destroy it to cause a point loss of 25 to the opponent. all while solving two of my six planets, playing Parralix Arguers for points or Let's See What's Out There draws, playing Getting Under your Skin to try for 5 points here and there, and finally hitting the opponent with the odd Security Sweep for a chance at 10 points...

Round 1Mr.SloanFW (+93)
I played Christian a long time ago, and couldn't quite remember his style, he was playing an Android deck with continuing mission for two free reports per turn and with 24 Dilemmas, i was in for a rough ride. He seeded a kobayashi and 5 dilemmas under Genesis, So I avoided that one and hoped to get 70 points from two other missions and get the other 70 from bonus points. Luckily, he was giving me my Parralix Arguer points. I mangaged to complete two 35 point missions and get Mission Specialist and Chess Game bonus points. Christian did get through a mission, but suffered some point loss in the process. I eventually drew into my disrupter overload and holodeck door and done the Mona Lisa destruction to bring his points down even more. (A very lucky move as he said he had a disrupter overload stocked in his deck too, if i played it wrong, he could have caused me some point loss) I eventually got to 135 points and finished off with Getting Under Your Skin for the win. after our game, we both done the ritual of looking at the rest of each others dilemmas. looking under Genesis, He had Your galaxy is impure, horta, land eel and lots of other very nasty stuff. so going for the 140 points paid off thankfully

Round 2CardassianFederationJon CarterFL (-1)View opponent's Report
The Rules meister was playing 6 planet as well packing the Genesis Planet. This meant a double seed, so once again, I had to rely on 140 points again. Carter saw through this and denied me my points via Parralix Arguers. The good thing about it was that i could draw through my deck really fast via free Let's See What's Out there. I set my Outpost near two planets close to each other. Carter suffered some point loss through my Dilemmas. I was being very cautious about my mission attempts, which was a big mistake as I hit a few self seeds while getting through two missions. I managed to get 100 points via mission attempts, Getting Under Your Skin and Security Sweeps, but Carter managed to bust through my Medical/Science walls and eventually super teamed Genesis for 140 points. Sadly my Disruptor Overload was at the bottom of my deck so in my hypothetical next turn, i could have got the Mona destruction on the go. A very fun game and a great battle of wits. Well done sir! :D (so technically I was at 100, Carter was at 140, when posting results it goes in as 100-100 but 1 point of differential must be added hahaha)

Round 3StarfleetJohn Paul VeaseyFW (+83)
The Veez was playing Starfleet/Klingons. What I didn't expect was that he was using Parralix Arguers as well to try and get free MACO guys out during my turn. my Subspace Shockwave/Cloud combo killed a few of his personnel on his main ship and slowed him down enough for me to get some missions done. Two missions later, Veez got one done too, but hit my Edo/Higher Fewer/Lack of Prep combo and lost a massive 30 points in a single attempt. Once I got more points, i was able to finish off with a Getting Under Your Skin, and finally Sela got to Vulcan and downloaded 'Romulan Reunification' for 140. PS. We were nulifying each other Parralix Arguers throughout the game using Parralix Arguers final funcion. We managed to get a chain of 30 points worth of nulifying at one point, fun times! :D

Closing Thoughts
That was a fun event, I managed to destroy Mona, use the last nulifying function of Parralix Arguers, use Getting under your Skin, Security Sweep, 'Romulan Reunification' Vulcan, get massive point loss in one Dilemma combo. The only thing I didn't manage to do was actually solve and destroy that fucking Genesis Planet. I suppose it makes a great Mission bluff though.
