KazonLackey Warp Speed deck
Introduction
I've been wanting to check out the online tournament scene, and I've always heard about Lackey, but never played. Nava's warp speed Lackey tournament was the perfect opportunity to do both. He set up some random cardpools and send everyone their "packs" for us to build from. It's been a looooooooooooooong time since I've played warp speed rules, or for that matter, any of the cards from Voyager (CHEESE!). The biggest point that hosed me was not realizing that you could still take advantage of free plays beyond your normal two card plays for the format. I drafted all three said cards, and could have been using my pick of them, but didn't realize it until well into the tournament. Luckily, being "sealed", we could change our decks between rounds, so the back half picked up considerably. The real blighter of it all is I had a FANTASTIC draft card in Cullah, who is listed on over half the Kazon to play for free, but failed to live up to my draft because I wasn't playing it to its full potential. DOH! Still had fun, and will definitely be back.

Round 1FederationVidiianChristopher CoyleFL (-60)
The first of two games where I learn that playing free cards is good. I felt like it was close, since I got plenty of cards out, and emptied two missions of dilemmas, but I still got blanked because I was stopped and waiting to solve next turn. The speed of a Kazon Collective would have pushed me over the edge! FL.

Round 2Andreas LimmerFL (-50)
Sadly, I did not learn my lesson quickly enough, having been on vacation, returning right before the deadline, and not having time to change my deck before playing, so I had to face Lackey Master Nava with my fail build. Things went similarly to my first game, keeping it close but close not enough. Lacking the extra play speed, I did not get as much security out before attempting and again got cut down by Kazon bomb, again clearing out missions, and again, not solving. FL.

Round 3Lee CarverFW (+30)
FINALLY, I remembered to fix my deck. Seed Culluh, lots of strong Kazon for Combat Training, Tom Paris to solo the Off/Eng/Med mission. I got of to a quick start, and played three guys almost every turn. I finally got out enough security to not fall to the Kazon Bomb, and manage to get my second mission before Lee did. Very close game, but a win.

Round 4FederationVidiianChris LobbanFW (+30)View opponent's Report
Chris has a TERRIBLE dilemma draft, poor guy. That on top of being shut out by my Twisted (a really mean dilemma in sealed) and again by my Implication, digging for Law. He had the added luck of all three of my females being on the bottom of my deck, and me trying to dig for them to get past Martiarchal Society as the last dilemma under my close planet. One more turn and I would have just had to strike out towards my other planet, avoiding another shuffle passing around Chris' Garbage Scow, but my deck was drawing and playing fast enough that I could get to them before he solved his second mission, and I ended with a FW.
