Introduction
A very large tournament held with quite a bit of the usual ("a lot of") prize support. I finally got to play against players from outside our local Santa Barbara meta environment and we had a blast. Our venue became very crowded by the tail-end of the tournament, but we survived.

Round 1DS9Chris DonatiFL (0)
This was a very frustrating game for me in which all three of my P'tol personnel were snagged by a single Holding Cell played by Chris's vicious DS9 Weenie/Holding Cell deck. By the time my mission attempts got off the ground, my dilemma deck had failed to stall the weenies down and Chris had a full win. After this game, I freely ranted that Holding Cell needed an errata (aka "broken") and I felt that simply making it unique would be sufficient. Flash forward to the future and my wish came true!

Round 2TNGJake GriffithFW (0)
My first time playing Jake who I had loaned my secondary dilemma deck to for the tournament. A returning player to the game, it was a pleasant change of pace from the frustrating furvor I experienced in Round 1. Jake was playing a TNG Season 1 & 2 "uniform" themed deck and it was a fun spin on things. However, I knew what to expect from my dilemma pile(s) and managed to squeeze out a full win by the end of it.

Round 3Starfleetgeoff colmanFW (0)
Geoff played a Starfleet deck that utilized Reed dilemma shifting which was a first time experience for me. I started my turn with several P'tol's in my hand and quickly was able to get my mission attempts moving. Some key dilemma plays helped stall Geoff long enough for me to capture a full win. Geoff has some interesting experience with non-ST card games and it was fun to chat after we finished.

Round 4StarfleetAaron WeilFL (0)
Aaron brought the frustratingly horrible Legacy dilemma pile. My first run-in with it. Horrible. I always enjoy playing card games with Aaron but he was a good sport about kicking my teeth in with it, agreeing that it was a devastating card requiring some change. Suffice it to say, Aaron destroyed me in the last round.
