I Slept There for My 30th Birthday Introduction With sanctioned league play returning to OP2K and The Animal resuming command for this Academy event, I threw together a TOS / all-skill design and hoped for the best. Congrats to Mankind on the win and props to The Genius for his triumphant return to the ring. Round 1 Barry Windschitl FW (+75)View opponent's ReportView original Report The Genius was packing Equinox heat, planning to skill and stat cheat like crazy if given the chance. Unfortunately, a well-timed Diversionary Tactics thwarted his efforts while my micro-teams eeked through missions. FW 100-25. Kris was packing TOS, and looking to micro-team. He was able to hold me back with the usual suspects while bouncing his way to a win. Round 2 Nat Kirton ML (-5) The Beast from the East was rocking Samuals for this gig, but only included one 40-point mission. Despite the deck building blunder, I drew poorly while Nat ran well, eventually grinding out a 5 point mod win thanks in large part to the bonus points from Earth. ML 75-70. Round 3 Matthew Hayes FW (+100) The Animal was testing Bajorans, but my luck completely changed in this game as I one and two-pip solved two missions inside of 20 minutes while stalling him at his first. Considering I ran the deck completely cold, absent test draws and games, finishing 2nd at 2-1 was an admirable performance. FW 100-0.
