RomulanShe Has No Idea... the Effect That She Can Have
Introduction
The T2E Tough Enough League weekend rolled on with a 1E OTF event hosted by yours truly as the emergency T.D. due to erroneously presumed scheduling conflicts. Huge props go out to The Razor for entering the results, to Crimson on his strong showing, and to both men for all of their in-tournament assistance.

Round 1RomulanJustin KaufmanML (-51)
Crimson was also looking to Romulus, and worked around both the capture mechanics of my Q-Flash and a Hologram Ruse to knock out a pair of planets mid-game. Meanwhile, I lost a solid crew to V'Ger early before ultimately dumping 11 points to The Higher... The Fewer in a desperation attempt at the wire. ML 75-21.

Round 2FerengiKevinFW (+92)
Kid Kash was testing Gamma Quadrant Ferengi, but was beat to the other side of the wormhole by the Goraxus. After running headlong into a Female's Love Interest & Garbage Scow on the ground and losing his only ship shortly thereafter, wrapping up the match was academic. FW 100-8.

Round 3RomulanBen JohnsonFW (+50)
Mankind was also running Romulan, and picked up 50 points by swooping in to solve the shared Covert Installation after I was stopped. Unfortunately for him, What Does God Need With a Starship? led to a second Mercenary Ship in orbit, and I summarily wiped out his entire crew before coasting to victory. FW 100-50.

Round 4FederationJeremy BenedictMW (+3)
The Razor was co-chairing The Toast of the Coast's TNG Fed deck, but lost a huge crew early to Crystalline Entity. Eventually, he solved Host Metaphasic Shielding Test and Explore Dyson Sphere while I dug for the skills to pass Medical Crisis, although I rallied at Raid Ancient Burial Site to take the win in overtime. MW 85-82.

Closing Thoughts
Surprisingly, I never saw a single Dead End on the day while simultaneously deeply missing it from my repertoire as stocking a copy may have led to a different result in round one. In an era where two mission wins are all the rage, it seems like an auto-include, especially if paired with options to inflict point loss.
