KlingonBe the Hunter and the Hunted... Keep Your Target in Your Sight
Armed with a broader understanding of the Legitimate Leader mechanic and a few painful lessons learned via the Online League, I went to war with Klingons in this our first local Regional event of the season. While the guns stayed silent from start to finish, Gowron & Co. muscled through enough missions to win the day.

Round 1FederationShawn ColsonFW (+100)
The Heartbreak Kid was captaining Finest Crew TNG, but was dealt a horrible spaceline for his Oberth to traverse. With him stuck in front of a Founder Secret at Foster New Collective, I swiped The Siege of AR-558 before nailing down the shutout at Host Metaphasic Shielding Test. FW 100-0.

Round 2BajoranFederationKevin JaegerFW (+100)
Big Kev was again employing DS9, and went straight into the lion's den in the Gamma Quadrant where I seeded four or more dilemmas per mission. Despite rough draws throughout on both sides, daring him to venture into my domain paid huge dividends in this surprisingly lopsided affair. FW 100-0.

Round 3FerengiKeith RuppFW (+65)
Killer was kicking it with Ferengi, but was tied up for ages in space by The Arsenal: Divided, Spaceborne Entity, and Gomtuu Shock Wave. After clearing out both of my homeworlds, I hopped over a Dead End at the conjoined Host Metaphasic Shielding Test to bring glory to The Empire. FW 100-35.

Closing Thoughts
It is a bit surreal how in the span of one year I have transformed from an admitted 1E Regional party crasher into a heavy favorite. Though regardless of which moniker best describes my approach to the game, when it comes to reeling in titles the more things change the more they stay the same.
