DS9-EarthBuckshot George... That's Your Name
Introduction
Following a brief dinner break, the assembled Frozen Chosen reconvened for act two of our Fantasy Flight Games double feature to partake in a Second Edition standard event. With Red Squad members lurking around every corner, I had hoped to lean on the "Big 3" in the form of Primmin, Pazlar, and Ross to carry me to victory.

Round 1TNGrakesubrocketFW (+100)View opponent's Report
The Chosen One was co-chairing Cadets, but was significantly hampered by Slightly Overbooked, Unfair Terms, and Outclassed. Despite the Phoenix making appearances on both sides of the table, I knocked out Eliminate Sphere Network for the win in this laugh filled affair against my favorite child prodigy. FW 100-0.

Round 2RomulanSteve NelsonML (-5)
The Full Nelson was again running Romulan, and earned a free pass at Investigate Sighting mid-game when Keras cracked an Infinite Diversity. In yet another old school battle for the ages, a pair of perfect dilemma draws thwarted my double teams at Avert Danger to tip the modified win scales in his favor as time expired. ML 80-75.

Round 3Missed GameMG (0)
A late arrival and subsequent lengthy overtime game in the first round meant this gig was nearly an hour behind schedule at this point. As I was no longer in contention and had spent the better part of eight hours gaming already, I dropped to avoid the bye and let the rest of the boys slug it out.

Closing Thoughts
I am glad to have finally earned the Deep Space Nine – Earth Regular achievement as I will likely shelve Cadets for the foreseeable future. It is a great design to be sure, but one that has become increasingly difficult to win with due to the rapid adaptability of the folks that make up The Land of 10,000 Champions.
