In round 2 I was facing Kris who has running Qo'nos/cardassia unlike in my previous game I failed to get some of my key personnel an when i made my first attempt at Ancient Artifact I realized that i didn't have 1 of the skills i needed to solve and wasn't able to recover quick enough to get back into the game before Kris managed to solve his Space mission for the FW 70-0 Round 3 Jon Carter FW (+40)View opponent's ReportView original Report Dr. Death was trying out TNG / Ferengi, and collected The Needs of the Few and a pair of Coolant Leak's at Investigate Alien Probe before I had even left my HQ. Despite getting hamstrung by Breaking the Ice, I eventually warped through space after Revok eliminated the threat posed by his In Development. FW 70-30. It is a tight game, but Kris is able to one stop me a bunch of times. I was a turn or two away. a complete wiff by me on his first mission really made this a catch up affair the entire time. Round 4 Daniel Matteson FW (+70) The Gunslinger was orchestrating TNG / Klingon, and gifted me a ship early thanks to Orfil Quinteros. A surprising one-attempt solve at Political Intrigue put me firmly in control, and from there it was only a matter of time before Duras & Co. brought glory to The Alliance on this day. FW 70-0. Closing Thoughts Unsurprisingly, In Development and the double dose of Coolant Leak did much of the heavy lifting, but Honorable Mentions also go to Terminal Resignation, Parallel Romance, and Unwanted Guests. Given the potency of these off-beat options in sealed play, I should give them a closer look in full constructed.
