Introduction |
The T2E Tough Enough League rolled on with Survivor Series, a three tournament extravaganza at FFG's headquarters in Roseville. Beginning with 2E and ending with Tribbles, this single day of gaming proved to be a microcosm of the quality players and kind people that make up The Land of 10,000 Champions. |

Round 1 | | Ryan Heiberg | FW (+100) |
Hayseed was attempting TNG, and seemed determined to solve his missions in a very particular order regardless of a distinct lack of Geology. Despite getting held up a bit at Investigate Alien Probe, I eventually broke through and converted a litany of verbs in hand into a pair of quick solves on the ground. FW 100-0. |

The Chosen One was piloting Cadets, but was tagged with WNOHGB at Practice Orbital Maneuvers early and never recovered. Leery of hitting either a Causal Recursion or finding a Phoenix, I solved Rescue Prisoners and then Brute Force before venturing into space en route to a surprising shutout. FW 100-0. |
Pies had me on the ropes and the where no one has gone before put me on major time out and it gave him the win or at least helped him with that |

Round 3 | | bandana8472 | FL (-70)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
The Original Champion was schooling me on AQ Borg, and sidestepped both a Rogue Borg Ambush and an Infinite Diversity via Ascertain to take a huge lead.
In true veteran fashion, he exploited my rude opening draw by playing it safe with dilemmas to keep me in check from wire to wire. FL 100-30. |
gamesmanship and a bunch of interrupts on both sides. |

Closing Thoughts |
Despite a 2-1 record, I finished an uncharacteristic 5th place in this our first full constructed local 2E league event. While typically this would be cause for concern, considering half the field ended with similar results I'll instead just chalk it up to the highly competitive nature of the greater MN meta and move on. |
