Introduction |
With the crowd pleasing Rainbow Draft headed off to cyberspace, I knew I had to get in on the action after familiarizing myself with the format last year at Worlds 2000 plus 14. Special thanks to J.P. for putting all of the product together, and to Jordan specifically for imploring a creative solution that eventually let us throw down. |

Round 1 | | Matthew King | FW (0) |
The King of Men was unable to find time to play his assigned matches, and magnanimously chose to take losses rather than risk the event being unsanctioned. |

Round 2 | | Jordan Smith | FW (0) |
Stardust was attempting a Federation / Romulan tandem, and quickly stole Assist Cooperative and Iconia Investigation to take a huge lead. Fortunately, his failure to account for the Khazara allowed me to destroy a ship with crew and ultimately claw my way back into contention at Compromised Mission. FW 100-95. |

Round 3 | | Edwin Latrell | FW (0)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Loose Cannon was angling on abusing free plays and interference verbs, but failed to adjust to the high range requirements of my rare centric mission set. With battle possibilities lurking around every corner, a botched mission theft at Explore Typhon Expanse ultimately proved to be his undoing. FW 100-58. |
My game against Kris was also really fast paced. Played really well against his strategy early but made two early play mistakes. Both of these can be chalked up to me jumping the gun and acting early.
I essentially lost this game due to my own in ability to be patient. Solid lessons learned. |

Closing Thoughts |
While far from playing up to my own personal standards throughout this gig, I was fortunate enough to draw into my big ship in both of my games and set the tone early. As usual, the mantra of "when in doubt, shoot it out" continues to show merit, especially in the sealed environment. |
