Introduction Had a ton of good Klingon cards in my OTSD packs but didn't want to go the 3-Way Treaty route so I ditched those dudes and went all-planet. Planned to steal missions as mine were hard for the skills I had remaining, but didn't really have a ton of opportunities. Round 1 Jordan Smith FL (-40) Stardust was co-chairing a largely Romulan force, and benefited greatly from my self inflicted lockout of two planet missions due to Interphasic Plasma Creatures and Malfunctioning Door. Unable to make any ground, he picked up the full win on a double deck out. FL 65-25. Round 2 Ted Reebel FW (+100) T-Rex was running a rainbow affiliation build, but had his Horga'hn stolen at Establish Relations and never recovered. The double shot of Static Warp Bubble added insult to injury, and the remainder of the match was academic. FW 100-0. Round 3 Bruce Parrish FW (+44) Black Magic was schooling me on Klingon, but found himself locked into a corner of the space line thanks to Q-Net. With him sufficiently penned in, I stole a mission and chipped away at my own before he could rebuild following an STP. FW 100-56. Closing Thoughts Nice to finally knock out the Return to Talos IV victor achievement, provided they ever come back online. Great games as always, guys!
