HirogenNow This Shark That Swims Alone... Whats it Called?
Introduction
Stage 2 of our local league kick-off event saw the entire group running with original Q's Tent's and not a referee card in sight. I was just hoping to add another mark towards the 10x Hirogen player achievement, but picked up the no-ref win medal in the process.

Round 1KlingonJustin KaufmanFW (+100)
Crimson was kicking it with Illegitimate Klingons, but was comparatively slow out of the gate as I was attempting on turn 2 and putting points on the board shortly thereafter. Blowing through a Founder's Secret with 6 Hirogen and solving both of my planets with a sole VIP was simply too much for him. FW 100-0.

Round 2RomulanJason TangFW (+100)View opponent's Report
JTG was experimenting with TNG Romulan, and quickly found a Dead End at Investigate Raid. With Kivas Fajo: Collector fueling my free plays and The Arsenal: Divided giving him fits, this game was uncharacteristically one sided. FW 100-0.

Round 3BajoranRomulanRobert PetersenFW (+73)
The Prodigy was dealing Bajoran / Romulan, but found a FLI / RAGS at his first mission and was in Plan B mode almost immediately. Once I solved Collect Omicron Particles he made a desperation move at Acquire Illicit Explosives that cost him a ship with crew, so the remainder of the match was academic. FW 100-27.

Closing Thoughts
Despite the general solitaire play found when I run Hirogen, the DQ personnel are unrivaled in their ability to smash through dilemmas. Often times, I assume I don't have the requirements only to find a missing skill buried half way through a skill box on a personnel that rarely if ever is in a given attempt.
