Slipstream Relativity 1.0 |
Introduction |
I was going to use Terok Nor for the SS tourney, but decided that it was too unreliable draw-wise. I decided to see how this type of deck would work in this quicker format. One major deciding factor was that I could switch up one mission, and then have Aid Lost Colony become a full 50-point mission. |
|
Round 1 | | Nat Kirton | FW (+50) |
I think Nat was playing TNG/ Cadeticles (it Is a popular deck to use for this format, no?). He would get round-the-corner points from the Big-E that gives the owner 5 extra points if their commander is aboard the ship. My weenie-hate dilemmas kept him pretty well at bay while I got through ALostC . |

Round 2 | | Shawn Colson | FW (+50) |
Again, IIRC, this was another match like the last one: Weenie-hate on him, while I got my super crew going. |

Round 3 | | Kris Sonsteby | FL (-50)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
The one bad match-up: Terok Nor, and this is one that Kris has been using for this format for some time. The deck worked well, but even weenie hate couldn't stop a person who could micro-team with Jemmies, and top it off with Ruling Councils. |
The Genius was rocking Relativity, and would have bagged this match if not for my timely use of Unexpected Difficulties. After connecting with a Necessary Execution and follow up Pivotal Destiny, I then dodged a Greater Needs via Noret'ikar before a late arriving Odo provided the Law to push me over the line. 50-0. |
|
Round 4 | | Preston Holida | FW (+50) |
Preseton was running Bajoran Resistance/ Friends with JLOT for round-the-corner points. Things didn't get going for him, and I was able to keep him at bay long enough to get the win. |

Closing Thoughts |
This deck seems pretty good for the format, and I will look at making a few more tweaks to it. More weenie hate in the dilemmas should make it stronger, along with some experimentation on the deck itself (I am looking at TPtT to keep non-future peeps out longer). Again, this is a fun format to play. |
