BorgBrocutus Returns: Borg Snatch and Run 2.0
Introduction
At the advising of the Sages of MN, I decided to dust the cobwebs off of the old Borg Assimilator. It turned out that this was a good call.

Round 1DominionKevinFW (+95)
You could have just cut the first 40 minutes off of this game, as we were both sitting and building at our HQs. After nerfing his Anything or Anyone event a couple of times (depsite it possibly getting me an easy assimilation), I decided to go do something, and went for Assimilate resistance with 12 guys. Kevin got three captives who didn't hurt me too much. I soon had my first victim, and the ability to use K&E. Once we got down to the wire, Kevin went for his space missions with 12 peeps each. I got two more victims out of one attempt, and shut it down, then shut down the other one. After that, I closed up the game, and got the win.

Round 2TOSKris SonstebyFW (+100)View opponent's Report
Kris was running his TOS ALC deck, and I was able to hit him hard with a near-complete wipe-out of his away team. After this, it was not much of an issue to solve a space and planet mission for the win with K&E, and get around the corner with OWtB. Good Game Bro.

Round 3TOSMike HarringtonFL (-40)
One of my two losses in the qualifiers, Mike had Staffer Sisko and Grav Traps ready to give me fits when the invasion team hit him. The defense hit especially hard when it came time to use K&E to get missions.

Round 4TNGJohn CorbettFW (+70)
After an eff-up playing an early TAtV (I drew one too many, so let John randomly select three cards to go to the bottom of my deck; This worked in his favor), I managed to get back into the swing and hit him with a snatch-and-grab for 7 or 8 peeps. I soon came away with the win thanks to assimilation-fueled shenanigans. He played the TNG cards that normally help everyone, but my peeps didn't get to much help from those cards.

Round 5TNGPreston HolidaFW (+25)
This was the game where Preston and I looked around, at the top table to my right, and the lower tables to my left, and asked each other "How the [Eff] did we get here (we were at the second-to-the-top table). I got my crew together and robbed him of enough people to make the win nearly impossible for him. I, on the other hand, easily got the win via making assimilies adapt to work with the Borg.

Round 6RomulanNeil TimmonsFL (-20)View opponent's Report
Milled, but I Did get two missions, and 80 points before he finally realized that he needed to Keras Three of Nine into my hand and discard her to stop me from recycling K&Es and OWtBs. I got two of his guys, including one Intel guy to stop Sela from interfering with my hives plans. This was a rough last game that left me more than a little drained. EDIT: After reading Neil's report, I have to say thanks for the props, it was indeed a Great Game against a great player whom I had only heard about through previous reports. You played like a champ Bro. Great game.

Closing Thoughts
I honestly didn't think I would get this far. The deck worked well enough, and shows that where assimilation is concerned, I still have the chops.
