KlingonKlingon Continentals 2014
Introduction
I was going to play a different deck but was missing 2 cards for it so I just grabbed Ben's Day 1 deck.

Round 1Relativity SmileyFW (0)
This game was pretty close, Mike was using a Chula dilemma pile and it's consistent attrition slowed me down at space for an annoyingly long time. Fortunately I kept him at his first mission for a long time as well, hitting him with a Gomtuu really slowed him because he didn't want to get hit by another like the day before and be locked out, so he dug for some Diplomacy. All up I think I stopped him 6 times at space and meanwhile I was alternating attempts between Rescue Prisoners and Investigate Alien Probe to get rid of The Clown. On my second last turn I made a big mistake and didn't use Bridge Officer's Test to end the game but I was able to stop Mike's 13ish person attempt and win a turn later despite the two Chula: The Games on the mission.

Round 2BajoranCraig GiblettFL (0)
Craig started a lot better than me in this game I had 5 universals in play before a unique and then 3 more universals after that, I still managed to do my space a lot faster than last game but I couldn't find the Sword, Fajos or Mara at all. Craig and I kept pace with each other after I caught up with a Where No One Has Gone Before getting a mission every 2-3 turns. Again I made another big mistake by not using Riker to gain Brute Force skills before flipping the last dilemma which was over-costed on my last turn. Craig was able to cheat through the last mission after I got fairly unlucky with an Intimidation against an away team of 6 Bajorans and 1 Human and only stopped 2, he didn't even need to use the Covenant in hand though.

Round 3Missed GameMG (0)

Round 4Missed GameMG (0)

Closing Thoughts
Overall I didn't care too much that I lost to Craig, I should have won it but being only the second game I had played with the deck cost me and I got to play in the Cube Draft tournament instead of losing to Ben which was a sure thing.
