Traditionally Playing Two HQ's |
Introduction |
The Traditional format is the only safe place to try multiple HQ decks these days, so I found an achievement combo that I liked and went at it. Actually, the Bajoran/Cardassian build that I came up with is very similar to a deck I played back in the early days of 2E. |
|
Round 1 | | Amber Van Breemen | FW (+30) |
Amber had the same idea as me and went for the Dominion/DS9 achievement. I was able to get a lot of personnel out very quickly, including pulling the Borum trick multiple times. If I remember correctly, Amber had some ship staffing problems which kept her a turn behind. |

Round 2 | | Adam Warpinski | FW (+60) |
I admit that this game was won purely on dilemmas plays. I was drawing the perfect dilemma at the perfect time throughout the game which kept Adam to a crawling pace. |

Round 3 | | Anastasia Kalashnikova | FL (-35)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I must have used up all my luck in the last game because every random selection on both sides of the table went against me and I just could not get anything going. |
Michael played unholy alliance of bajoran resistance and cardassians. He played a lot of cheap non-uniques and solved a mission first. But it was a planet, so I needed no extra points and solved two planets in 2 turns. |
|
Round 4 | | Oliver Thust | FL (-100) |
Again, random selections were not my friends this game which was just compounded by the mass of cheap personnel that Oliver was able to play. |

Closing Thoughts |
I think the deck has merit, but dual-HQ hate is so strong that I would be scared to play it (even with help from virtual cards) in any other format. |
