Justified Alpha Borg 1.3 |
Introduction |
I wanted to play my Borg deck one more time so that I could get the Borg Regular achievements. I made a few changes so that I could incorporate New Arrivals in the deck. |
|
Round 1 | | Edward Pigman | FW (+35) |
Ed was borrowing a deck and I felt bad for him because there were definitely some things missing from it. You can't have a Legitimate Leader deck with only one copy of Gowron in it! |

Another loss with this deck based purely on user error. I let him attempt a mission with a Scow on it without thinking. I would have won if I hadn't allowed that to happen. |
Mike deserved to win this game, no doubt. I should not have been able to attempt Reunion with the Scow I had just moved there. I owe him a raffle ticket.
Mike, don't give up on Borg. You've actually inspired me to give them a shot. We can discuss some strategy if you want. |

Round 3 | | Corbin Johnson | FL (-65)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I lost only because my cube was stopped multiple times with Loss of Orbital Stability. I'm sorry but if the CC is going to make single ship decks more prevalent with things like Federation Flaghip and They Will Be Coming, then LoOS is an NPE. I was stuck twiddling my thumbs for multiple turns. Now I know that if I ever play this deck again (which probably won't happen), I won't go near planets until I have to complete my last objective. |
If you think Loss of Orbital Stability is on the banned list then you're mistaken. If you think Loss of Orbital Stability should be on the banned list step up and claim your prize! I won because of one of the (few remaining admittedly) cheesiest cards in 1E. |

Closing Thoughts |
I am done with Borg. It is not fun to play. |
