Introduction
My Cardassians, updated for the second wave of errata on some cards in the deck. A good strong deck now, but it feels like a ‘fair’ top end deck now not the busted ass crap it was before.

Round 1VoyagerPhil SchraderFW (+100)
Had a reasonable draw on my offensive side, my dilemmas did what they were supposed to do. Phil had some bad luck dilemma pulls, combined with my skill cheaters for the skill heavy pile I chewed through my missions fast, we were the first round 1 game finished.

Round 2DS9Maggie GeppertFW (+100)
The game was going pretty even, Maggie was getting some extra cards from the DS9 rainbow, though the counter+ card had eluded her the cheap people were rocking it. We were both working on missions, then on one key turn Maggie having only single copies of some mission skills didn’t bother to pick up Marouk for her double leadership and the dreamer+tactical dumped her hand including the bridge officer tests, a solid card against my pile. From there I started to heavy draw for cheater people and cards and chewed through her dilemmas fairly quickly while continuing to one stop her for the solid win.

Round 3VoyagerJohn CorbettFL (-35)
My weakest start to the deck for sure, opening hand only had Tain going for it, but even his 7 card draws saw only ships and interrupts, by the r d of turn two I had discarded a tone, and had only three cards on the table. John on the other hand had had a great start with voyager staffed on turn one. My deck picked it up from there a bit, a huge escape on Garak had issues kept me in the game, while a second attempt solve on Inversion Mystery to block two of my tacticals jumped John in to a very solid place. We both kept pounding ahead, we were both down to last missions, clock was winding down, with out any stop protection left I could not one and done my last mission but was in a strong position to solve next turn, on Johns last turn time was called, he needed only the array to win, I needed only for him to fail to get the mod win thanks to plant-space solved. This day the Chakotay was strong with him and my top deck failed me to give John a win. It was a very close game in the end.

Closing Thoughts
Still a strong top tier deck, where you expect a high level event deck to be, but now it feels like a very fair top end deck in a good place. Had a ton of fun in this event, can’t wait to get to play more of this Star Trek stuff again it’s been a long 2+ years not seeing all the great people that play these games.
