Kenneth Tufts (Worf Son of Mogh) Tournament Report - 1E Modern 2012-03-25 - 02:30 PM OTF Fed/Kling treaty deck Introduction Playing my new achievement deck build for FED/KLING/ORGANIAN treaty deck, using some careful picking of mission specialists, and a II mission for outpost, with [SD] of treaty to save seed slots, for a solid pile of dilemmas while getting some good splat going by turn 2 for quick attempting. Also using [SD] on ships to hopefully bypass some dilemma combos, + the UR McCoy for more dilemma breaking power. Round 1 Roxanne Barbour FW (+100)View opponent's ReportView original Report Roxanne was playing her new updated version of her GQ Dom/Cardi Crell deck and it is a strong deck but I got a little lucky. I lost a tone of points to her Higher the fewer and Edo Probe combos so was going to have to solve 4 missions got the win, but my Hip-oath, Males love/Plague ship combo wiped out a big away-team when she had a low medical draw, and she was not able to recover before I got the 4th mission before she got any. 100-0 win. Friendly Fire stopped Ken, and 2 people dead. I cleaned out the medical, and then 7 dead. Ken lost 12 from The Higher The Fewer, and then 6 dead from Denevian Neural Parasites. Also -10 to Edo Probe. I needed to go to the end of the spaceline to pick up some needed personnel. Ken wins 100-0. Round 2 Kurtis Correia FW (+65) Kurtis was playign his new and improved AQ Cardi deck now with Crell and DQ holos. Kurtis was feeding Crell a steady diet of Froolish waiters who just kept going to the holo-suite to take his order, with the little shop of horrors he had going there they never came out... We were also both running K.F.C. and mirror image so we were drawing cards fast and furious. After a few attempts and nice DL's of medical supports and the Equinox doctor Kurtis did eventually manage to work his way past one of my Hip-oath, Males love/plague ship, medical crisis combo and earn 3 points from alter records. but buy that point I had solved 2 missions for 85 points then on my next turn I hit earth with purty much my whole deck in play well after losing 26 points to Higher the fewer i completed but was at 99 points! luckily I had the range left and popped over to Explore Black Cluster II putting a couple people aside with a set of the requirements I hit it with a loaded ship, I cleared the dilemmas but was stopped. The left over people hopped on a second ship and solved for the final point I needed and the win 100-35. Round 3 Norm Barbour FW (+100) Norm joined us again today his 4th through 6th games, borrowing a spare deck, unfortunately as we were all testing possible regional decks possibilities/tactics with the season upcoming the results were predictable, in this game I won before he had started attempting.
