The Continuing Mission of Androids and Specialists 1.5 |
Introduction |
Ok took a TNG fed/ams/android deck I had with me at worlds, but did not play, added a few anti battle cards in forgot to add YaaM back in and gave it a shot it faired well, YaaM might have turned my loss around but it would have been very close indeed. |

Round 1 | | Jon Carter | FW (+40)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Jon was playing a deck that after seeign th seeds looked a lot like my hirogen deck, thinkign it might just be similar I seeded in a way that i knew would hurt my deck, turnes out it was very litterly my deck with a few minor tweks to it. I was able to get a good handle on the game and eak out the win just a bit before he did. |
Ken has a terrible draw, so I get going and quickly investigate a quantum singularity.. he does slow things down a bit with G4. He builds a crew of super mission specalists.
Two missions for ken to get through. He is ready for my med drain and makes easy work of them

Round 2 | | Daniel Matteson | FL (-67) |
First hirogen now vids and I forgot to put YaaM back in the deck sigh. my dillemas were also horrable against Vid's mostly skill based and all skills they had in aplenty, I know DQ decks purty well that helped me a little but only a little he hit 100 with ease, and woudl probably have hit 140 with ease before I could get 100 had I even rembered the YaaM. |

Round 3 | | Jeremy Huth | FW (+10) |
A very interestign borg deck based on buildign Outposts in the AQ at universal space missions and harnessing mutiple particals, it was slow ish but very hard to stop the 8 spaces kinda thin out the dilemmas a tone + since so mainy barly effect the borg any way ya i stakced a toen at his real missions incase he was planign to trick me and gave up on the universal spaces knowign he woudl have to spend the tiem to constantly build outposts and wait to probe. IT ended up comming very close I nicely solved a planet for 50 then went to space and hti edo probe, knowign there were mutiple dillemas that woudl scew me unde ri abandoned then realized i was miles away from another space... I had to solve a second planet f05 50 putitng mre at 100, btu not winning to clear the probe, with the nice space between my missions even that much flyign aroudn took a while and Jeremy was racking points up. he harnesed 2 particals and was settign up a 3rd wheni was able to get bakc to my space and with mutiple ships and attempts solve it for 50 more to win 150 to 90 with my victory conditiosn at only 100 points. |

Round 4 | | Stuart Marsh | FW (+80) |
A brutal Kazon Board & comendeer your ships deck, lucky for me i coudl se eit comming from the seeds and was able to play very caciously this is also where stratigic base and my 45 point planet mission came in really handy he was not set up to take out 75 sheild outposts, so I was safe to keep reporting personal, I still had to get one ship early, (fro aTMW target fro my romulan cybernetist) that he stole which actully ended up saving me a bit as it made his OCD fail. I accidentaly solved my planet for only 45 forgettign to take a MS on the attempt that would most likly solve really worried now I took some more time to build up, he gto a mission debriefing out evetuly, what else woudl save me was STP, i got a ship out and sent a crew out to dyson sphear, after they failed the attempt and were on a cytherians trip i belive i STPed it back to hand then nanoprobed the STP back and replayed it. rinse and repeat untill mission was clear I was carfully not sending full requierments this time and crosisng fingers he had no ITZ or I would have to go through it all again at another mission thanks to my original mess up i then built up my crew again this tiem carfulyl getitng all 4 MS rdy for it and solved for 55 the moment of truth as he checked his deck for ITZ nope game over 100. with ITZ and my misatke I could still have won but it would have take a lot more time to slowly do the build up crew go attempt STP back to hand and i would have to make sur ei constantly had a way to get STP back eith r a naoprobe or mutation to shuffle it in, time would mostlikly have run out by them for a MW only.
I was teched against battle with a huge Outpost, and landing ships ad stillahve to play it liek a chess match also it took along time for me to get the peices in place had he been set up to take out a 75 sheild OP better i think he culd have distroyed it before I was able to solve the seocnd mission. |

Closing Thoughts |
during the first few games I realized a few more tweakes this deck needed made them in the RL vertion and played it at a local tournament getitng my TNG fed victor covered before this one finished.
All in all this is a decent semi-speed mission solver a little slower then a speed solver but more durable at least verses traditional battle decks, and fun to play with a bit of odd ball on the fly play avalible to help with some matchups. |
