Kenneth Tufts (Worf Son of Mogh) Tournament Report - 2E 2012-12-08 - 02:30 PM Terek Nor #1.5 Introduction SO I stole Roxanne's TN deck from a previous tournament, looked at one of LORE's TN decks, and used a few thing form it, Took the Dillemma pile form the Virtual TN starter and played with it a bit based on a couple decks I'd seen and liking a few kill dilleams more then stop ones. It worked well. Round 1 Bren Tufts FW (+100) So at the start of the day a few of our regulars had to cancle :( but my wonderfull Dad who playes tribbles with us some times and ocationaly joins us for a bit of 1e, stepped up to the plate to give us 4 people, I grabed a random virual starter I had printed and procced to teack him 2e on the fly it went faily well but my dillemmas were hurting him and Weyon got Togran of fthe tabel eairly so he had no leadership in play, then when Mal'ik showed up he was quickly the guest fo the caretakers, then when he returned he met an unplesent end from all consumign evil. With one of his space missiosn requiering leadership and another havign jem'hadar addign leadership it was nto good for him. Ad din the power of rulling council vr's the V starters stop only dillemas mostly, I skated home to an easy victory. Just at the end of the game one of our regulars was able to arrive, she had to work that day but got out a bit eairly so she joined us for the rest of the event, and my father decided to drop and just watch so we had no bye. Round 2 Roxanne Barbour FW (+65)View opponent's ReportView original Report The Tos were out attemptign fast and quickly solved oen misison before i could do much about it, I did All consuming Evans in my keep leadership off the table attempt but he was saved by some TOS event, Dukot later took care of that once he was in play and i was able to get the spair card to toss. I was also able to Weyon George Stoker and James T Kirk. Then my deck took hold exploaded out of terek nor and rullign conciled it's way to victory sellign soem rusty klingon swords along the way. The TOS swarm managed a second turn attempt at "Avert Danger" and a third turn completion with 30 + 5 points for additional skills. Then Ken's dilemmas managed to slow me down significantly. I managed to get 2 "Gomtuu Shock Waves" on his ship, though. Since he was going for a 2 mission Terok Nor win, the game was soon over. Round 3 Kurtis Correia FW (+100) Kurtis loves his ferengi and this time they were a 2 mission deck with 50 50 45 and histroical reserch misisons, I tryed with weyoon to kepe leadership away Gint twice Gozar once but he just had to much and kept getting gint back(3 in deck). The ferengi werre constantly at a Tacktical Dissadvantage at his first space misison stoping him 3 times in a row with a single dillema each time. The TN guys build up a bit then went nuts in space and with enough swords I would only need one RC for bonus points, my eairly attemptys were stopped easily with dubbel Gomttues and i had to run home repair, when i came back i got lucky he had drawn 2 of the gonttus in the first draw and his deck didnt have to cycle for a while, so i got a couple more attempts with out the shut down wall and solved for 30+10ship+10RC+10weapons(+5either odo, a 3rd sword, or form a dillema i forget wich it was this game). I went over to the planet and attempted and used RC for the unstop and attempt again, but was stoped again. The next turn I got bakc 2 rulign councils and easly solved the planet, with the unstopping. unstpping allmy guys 4 times in the game ment a gap Kurtis just never had a hopeof closing. Closing Thoughts Ruling concil is NUTS it's silly how good an unstop it is. A few more achevments knocked out.
