Roxanne Barbour (hyperlight) Tournament Report - Tr Tribbles 2012-02-12 - 07:00 PM Recursion with a Bonus Introduction This tournament started with a strange mix of decks--most peculiar being Ken having such a large deck. In the end, the tournament was nick-named "There and Back Again" because Barb and Julia were playing two of my decks that contained a fair number of "Clone and Skip" and "Clone and Reverse". Round 1 () Julia "Toxined" Ken six times; and Barb did once--for a total of thirteen cards. I managed to pull off 100,00 from a Bonus set. This round went forever. Julia won with 675,907. Round 2 () This round was subtitled "Skip/Reverse". Occasionally, I was allowed to play. For a considerable length of time, no one could find a "1". Julia managed 1 tribble with her Toxin. I "Toxined" Ken for 100,000, and managed a 100,000 Bonus set. Barb won with 422,423. Round 3 () When oppposite players (in a four player game) have Skips, it can sometimes "suck" to be the outsider. I went out early (under protest) with only 221,320 tribbles. Round 4 () Very quick round. Barb went out with 11,143. Round 5 () This was "Freeze" the "Freeze" round. Ken wins with 121,121.
