I think it's getting better! I may change the focus in the next version. Round 1 James Monsebroten FW (+50)View opponent's ReportView original Report James's setup took a fairly long time. I hit a Parallel Romance which took out a couple of OAP (Old Age Pensioners) - Mila and Leonardo da Vinci. I decided to gamble on Edo Probe, and was successful. I cleared out Cardassia Prime in one run at it. Crystalline Entity and Lore was effective to kill 4 of James's people. I did get hit with The Higher The Fewer for 9 points. Denevan Neural Parasites killed 4. A success against James's Ferengi deck. 100-50 win for me. Well my deck took too long to get set up. Roxanne busted through an Edo Probe + 3 dilemas under her homeworld (one being Shore Leave which left Mila and Leonardo Davinci having a romance). With my captured people she was able to rake in the bonus points and defeat me with me only scoring one mission. Round 2 James Huckin FL (-15) This was James's first tournament after a long break. Ken helped him build a Next Gen deck. (A very successful one, I might add.) Denevan Neural Parasites got him for 5. Crystalline Entity and Lore got him for 9. However, he did regroup nicely. I was desperately searching for another Officer to pass Maglock. I managed to draw one, but he won before I could play it. Win for James, 100-85. Round 3 Kenneth Tufts FL (-50)View opponent's ReportView original Report For 7 or 8 turns I did not get a Holodeck Door (11 in deck of 53). The spaceline was terrible for me. We duplicated Cardassia Prime. Denevan Neural Parasites only killed 2. Ken knew I was playing Crystalline Entity, so managed to bypass it. Ken wins 100-50. Roxanne Playing a new version of her Cardi Capture deck. We duped Cardasia I drew mine first and that put it far away from 4 of her missions, but she had one more space to place and got it close to Cardasia and with her bonus points she only needs one space 1 planet but this let me those 2 up a bit heavier with dilemmas. Roxanne got the Rakel shuffle to end all Rakel shuffles and despite getting some of her secondary draw engines did not see any holo-doors for ~7 turns. We she did lost one to a My First Ray Gun right before she started drawing them but still way late. I started solving but with a captive driving her bonus point engine she was doing OK. Roxanne started attempting her space and after getting a ship full of people bounced by Gomttu I earned my TTP and made it vanish. She got a second crew running fast now with Crell & holo-door downloads running her draw and play engine she passed the Gomttu and started on a Cytherians trip with one ship lost in time and another on a long voyage she had a bare mission and 50 points when I was able to solve my 3rd for the win 100-50. TTP was huge this game the people she lost could easily have solved that bare mission, and would have given her some time to to at least start attacking the mess under Caradasia, it was if not the full win a huge effect on the game.
