Introduction |
My first tournament since before the release of The Borg. When I came back to the game, I decided to try out the new Enterprise-E mechanic. The deck was fun to play, but some bad draws caused me some grief in my first two games. |

Round 1 | | Kenneth Tufts | FL (-53) |
A lack of federation personel and an opponent playing with 24 dilemas and some great kill combos kept at bay. Multiple times throughout the game I was reduced to using Injector Assembly One as my main mode of transportation (couldn't staff the Enterprise-E). My opponent was even concidering bringing his bajorans over to blow it out of the sky :) |

Round 2 | | Barbara Copp | FL (+60) |
Worst draw ever! Nothing but non-aligned people and no ready room door to get an Enterprise-E captain into play. I decided to wait on getting my security personnel until second turn to see if I would draw a fed personel. Luckily I drew the Defiant and on turn 2 I grabbed Worf as my security and was able to grab a ready room door using my "Make it So" I could get Riker out on turn 3.
Unfortunatly the slow start put me 1 turn behind and the Feds and Vidiian were able to get ahead. |

Round 3 | | Roxanne Barbour | FW (-100) |
This game I got an awesome draw. My ship was up an running on turn one and I had pleanty of good personnel in play.
I was playing against a guardian deck and the guardian was close by to my outposts. When two anthropologists were left on a duck blind on planet gateway and two were sent into the past to Station K-7, I saw my chance to mess with my opponent's card draw mechanism. I moved the Enterprise-E over tot he planet with 6 non-aligned people and beamed them all down. 3 went to the past and three stayed on the plannet. Both groups of non-aligned attacked the small groups causing 3 casualties. From that point on my opponenet left both the duck blind and the past alone, and without that card draw / card play mechanic I was able to easily outpace my opponent. |
