James Monsebroten (Orbin) Tournament Report - Tr Tribbles - Ferenginar Regional 2012-04-01 - 07:30 PM May the Bonus be with you Introduction This was in interesting game, unfortunately I had a bad headache through most of it. At the end, the winner was giong to be the person who went out, and it was Kurtis! Proving the prediction for the tournament to be accurate! :) Round 1 () I was playing a bonus deck, and it showed... unfortunately that meant I was a target for Freezes! I didn't manage to get my bonus before Roxanne went out with 101,111 tribbles. Round 2 () Once again I was targetted with the Freeze machine. Kurtis poisoned Barbara for a single tribble! Again, I didn't manage to get my bonus before Ken went out with 121,013 tribbles putting him in first. Round 3 () This time the freezes went after Roxanne and Ken's common tribble types. I was able to get my bonus!! There was lots of poisons in this round. Roxanne went out with 113,414 tribbles Round 4 () The round started with a 1 clone and reverse chain. Freezes continued to go after Ken, Roxanne, and Kurtis, but I even so I wasn't able to get my bonus. Ken ended up going out with 11,552 tribbles, enough tribbles to put him in first place. Round 5 () The final round. We all ganged up on Ken a bit in this round. We figured it would be nice if we had two different winners for the regionals that day :) During this round Barbara poisoned Ken for 10,000 then 100,000 then 1 tribble. After that she poisoned him 6 more times, but not in order (though she did manage to score every single value from the poisons) I got my bonus early and had enough points in my play pile that if I went out I would win. With us all Stalling Ken, Kurtis managed to go out with a huge play pile of 566,543 and secure his title as Tribles Regional Champion!
