Equinox in the Hall |
Introduction |
Round 1 | | Laney Farmer | FW (+80) |
I dont remember much about this game except that Laney killed a lot of people and I didnt have the tools to protect them. But my dilemmas also killed a lot of people and that let me get going |
Round 2 | | Maggie Geppert | FW (+100) |
My dilemma draws let me stop maggie 6 times in space. that alone gave me the time i needed. Some equinox tricks also helped me get through a few tight spaces.
Also proof that luck hated maggie in this game. Asside from her not getting her best cards. I chandra three out of 10 and get a needed mission skill. She intimidations and pulls one of the 2 in 9 chance of a non human on the first draw. |

Round 3 | | Michael Van Breemen | FW (+5) |
MVB and I stay on even Keel. He is a turn away from winning with all his voyager tricks. I am able to use relitivity tricks to get throogh my last plannet mission and that is all she wrote. Ransom does the big lifting in this game. |
Round 4 | | Michael Shea | FW (+60) |
So it should be Shea and I ftw. It is the case. My deck starts slow. But I am able to firestorm his first new resistence before he uses it. I get the next one after he only gets 4 or so people. I am able to wall him at space 3 or 4 times. conversly I get through spaceon the first go due to an unlucky chandra (I used pick 2 to send seska back to hand). His two games hold me a while at my first planet, so he solves space. That turn he had gotten new resistence again and gets himself back to 15 people. He gambles that I dont have a fractured time. But I get to draw 18 (with three delirium in play). This lets me put a greater needs on his ship while only putting two under. I use the next two turns to get my last mission for the FW as time was called. |

Closing Thoughts |
I love equinox. It takes a second to get rolling, but one you hit the plannets, it has all the skills and so much other power. |
