BajoranCargo Runs and Murder
Introduction
This I think was a Lucas original, but I liked the build. I didn't realize just how to battle friendly it was until game 2, where my draw handed me enough ships that I could have been outpost hunting by turn 6 or so. After the tournament, it was brought to my attention that I was seeding Ds9 in the wrong phase. This would have had no impact in teh first game, it might have made a small difference in teh second game, but i would have likely put in the middle (knowing where his self seeds are) and put my trading post towards the action.

I misjudge where he is going to start so he has an easy run at his artifact. I also decide to play nice and not hunt his first ship. This is the mistake that almost cost the game because he then had a Naskos and was out of my reach. He is zipping all over the spaceline and forces me to STP most of my people. The early dilemmas I busted while he built his super crew just game me enough time to eek out missions for the win. Had he been more agressive, I would have lost for sure.

Round 2Ensign qFW (+100)
Not wanting to repeat the same mistakes (and seeing another likely cryosat at repair mission, I set up my cargo run over his outpost, and have 4 ships out on turn 3 (I got the jovis). This gives me enough weapons to blow up the ship he got stopped to bij (since he had mission debreifing out) and the one he flew to remove boj. Next turn he goes to see teh last dilemma under repair mission and realizes I will be hunting ships and scoops.
