Round 2 - vs pfti:
Mr Carter was late into the tournament, replacing Mr 2000. He flipped a coin to decide which deck he was going to use. It was a TNG Fed/NA deck.
We both started out building our forces. He attempted at Prevent Rebellion, failed Medical Crisis. He came back on a later turn, passing that, lost people to the Denevan Neural Parasites, failed Scientific Method.
Next door at Repair Mission, he failed Armus Energy Field a couple of times.
The second time I had the Warship on the far end of the spaceline.
The Item was requested a few times. Once it was a Q-Net separating Liberation from Combat Training.
The Future Enterprise with a very large crew got through Energy Field, hitting Cytherians. An Item was requested, another Q-Net keeping my Warship stuck at the Genesis Planet. A Cloud damaged the Regular Enterprise that reattempted Repair Mission.
I managed to get Seska onto Voyager and got that to the other end of the AQ Spaceline, but too late to finish off Regular Enterprise. I positioned it so I would probably be able to get the Future Enterprise next turn, with a Distortion Of Space/Time Continuum to finish it off. Did I mention a lot of people were on it? An Item was requested, a James T Kirk giving Repair Mission + Mission Specialist the extra 5 points needed to give the Rules Master 100 points and the win.
Good game. Final score: 100-0, FW pfti.

I read him as borg
I am wrong, so one mission I seeded, could get messed up bad. Because I forgot revise dquadrant rules
But I am able to grind through with thewins |
Jon was playing a Fed/TNG powerhouse with tons of free plays and even more card draws. His first turn he downloaded a few guys, played a bunch for free, consolidated his people and ended. I was surprised he didn't attempt a mission quickly before I could get my Cyrus out.
On my turn I decided to go for my mission first thing in the hopes that he misseeded most of the dilemmas underneath. Big mistake. Arachnia got stuck on Kobayashi, Geordi on Ferengi Ingenuity, Dejaren killed Worf, a mission specialist, and deactivated Cyrus. And with that I was screwed.
From that point on I was watching as he walked through missions, unable to rebuild fast enough to do anything. When he solved his second mission for 80-0, I conceded and went to bed.
Jon was fun to play against and I learned a few interesting tricks I'll have to steal for future use. Too bad I made a terrible tactical choice my first turn. But it probably wouldn't have mattered much. His deck was such a machine there was no way I was winning.

Round 4 | | Jeremy Huth | FW (+100) |
I rush through first space (deaths prevent due to high attributes and holos)
My SSI slows him down
Ruses prevent first two missions. Access does enough at the third
I lose some people to ankari and some planets, but Jeremy cannot catch up
I solve three missions, nullify YGII with nanos, so not to bad.
