So point loss is kinda hosed His planet attempt My lack of intelligency my kill me Should have dug for another crippling strike If I had thrown chukla the dice, I would have had a chace Round 2 Michael Van Breemen FW (+15) I win the toss I get an aweful opening dra All the cheese ? I attempt after a while of not doing much A afew attempts and two under I get a rough first drw so his soplves first turn I am able to cheat through my first space mission I am in the lead for one of the few times this tournament I hit the wrong group I miss math, so he gets througbn another planet in one go His Chandra makes a good pull I get lucky and a big stop to help me out (he forgets he doesn’t have a paranoia event in play) I am able to micro through mu second mission, forging him to do all four. I should have tried to strand him at the clown go away Michael is having some bad lick with attemptuing and remembering skills (as have I)I think I have Michael on tilt. But he eats my timescape on the second go I am able to squeak out the win Round 3 Kenneth Tufts FL (-25) My sneaky win over Michael means I get to play Ken In Round three… I am attempting on turn four as per usal I pick the wrong dip so I get WNOHB I get through on the next try however. I also solve my second planet on my next go. I blow through a set, he is holding me off at the last mission Ken is crushing me at my last mission … GAH I should have gone to space. I could have moved through quickly I should have gone slower so as to drain points, but he gave me such easy first two solves, that I didn’t have much coice. Round 4 Jeremy Huth FW (+75) I win the toss Thanks to a crippling strike I am out attemtong first, which is good since I effing have to face his archer pile with this deck I solve space on the first go, but he does kill my exlider immediately I secret ID archer and causal recurion on my first attempt On his I have to pray on a chula the dice after I bounce archer, but I get a causal recurion out (as does he) but he solves on one go at his first space I sovle my 40 point planet on my second try He attempts his first planet (my Chandra crushes so I over cost it) He clear out my geology so I cant go at my third mission. So I go to my other space. I draw into the equipment for the planet (which now has two under) with the cost bonus there is little he can do so I get through. Round 5 Amber Van Breemen FW (+70) Things move fast for me. I am able to geth through with shrowding and microcrews.
