New Errata, Same Result.1 |
Introduction |
I printed and sleeved Van Breemen's cardie deck from the September 2019 online Masters. |

Round 1 | | Jon Carter | MW (+10)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Jon really hated seeing this deck. By the time he pulled off de-staffing my ship with his Reman attack, I was able to get another ship and crew out attempting missions again. My 2 completed missions were worth just a little more than his 2 completed missions, giving me the win. |
I saw caries and I almost swept. As was, I didnt play dilemmas well to respond to the interupts I knew he had. This put me behind. A mass kill brought me back, but I wasnt solving fast enough. |

Round 2 | | Joshua Sprung | FW (+65) |
Josh played an old DS9 deck that I made long ago solely for locking out engagement centered decks, so I had a little advantage here knowing what dilemmas I was going to see. To be fair, I did warn him that this deck only got me 4th place out of 5 in the 2016 Michigan regionals. |

Round 3 | | jason bales | FW (+70) |
Jason seems to always play Ferengi or Dominion, and this time it was Dominion. Some interrupt prevention could have fended off Crippling Strike, but thankfully he only had 1 chance to play it. My last and final turn required me to use Central Command and Enemy of My Enemy in the same mission attempt, and I desperately needed it to get the full win. |

Round 4 | | edhill2 | MW (+25) |
I really miscalculated early on playing dilemmas against Eric's TNG weenie deck. I arrogantly only played 1 Rapid Progress, only naming Treachery, completely forgetting that Eric had a non-aligned crook in his crew. He sailed to an easy mission victory early on. This came down to the very last turn, and I already knew I needed the victory to win the tournament, as Jon had 4 victory points from a bye that I couldn't count on. I had to choose 1 last mission and went for the 30 pointer, because I figured I couldn't successfully micro-team the 40 pointer twice in one turn. |

Closing Thoughts |
Jon is probably right about this kind of deck being overpowered. Perhaps Casualties of the Occupation or Enemy of My Enemy needs an Errata. |
