Daniel Matteson (OKCoyote) Tournament Report - 2E 2012-08-25 - 03:30 PM Cardassian V-starter v 1.4.1 Introduction This event used only Linkan's virtual starters to help teach 2E to my local playgroup. Starters were randomly assigned and I drew Cardassian. Thanks so much to Eric Robinett for coming out and helping to teach the game. Round 1 Ian Coleman MW (+25) Modified win over Ian's Terok Nor deck, beating him after time as I attempted missions in the wrong order and ended up solving three for 95 points. We both had fun and I think Ian caught on to the game fairly well. Round 2 Eric R MW (+30) I was very surprised but pleased to defeat Eric in this game. I had two missions to Eric's two completed, and he was one skill away from getting through one final dilemma that would have led to a full win. Round 3 Robert McGinty FW (+35) The only full win of the match as my Cardassians exploded out of the gate solving two quick missions. Stalled out a little bit but managed to get the third before time. Closing Thoughts Somehow I managed to win this tournament. I enjoyed 2E and I'm looking forward to the next time we try it.
