The Dominion Will Prevail |
Introduction |
I was pumped from the first moment! I've been playing Enterprise dudes pretty devoutly thus far, so when the Academy tournament came around, I took the chance to build something new and put in a bunch of my favourite dudes from DS9! If only I had a Terok Nor Garak... |

Round 1 | | Bye | BY (0) |
...and then I got the bye. Oh well, a spot of lunch and a natter while waiting for my moment in the sun. |

Round 2 | | Steve Hartmann | FW (+65)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Chompers is awesome fun to play against! He had this creative Tulaberry Wine Commodity trading thing going on. Fortunately, Navaar allowed me to take the commodoties he gave me and blow them up for extra skills to get past his dilemmas. It was still a close game. |
Jamie very cleverly used The Central Command to unstop Dukat and grab an early mission lead - I tried to get back into it but got bogged down and Jamie stormed home for the Full Win. Great deck design earning Jamie a well earned first tournament win. |
|
Round 3 | | Clayton Walton | FW (+35) |
Clayton's speed was phenomenal and hard to top - fortunately, a few lethal dilemmas and Weyoun fetching Dukat, putting AG Robinson on the bottom of the deck and then being fetched by Dukat so he could do it all again saved me. |

Round 4 | | Shane Brierley | FW (+35) |
Playing Shane was surreal for me. He's usually at the other end of the tournament bracket, because he wins all the time and I don't. Aftereffects and Preventative Repercussions kept his peeps down to a minimum (at one stage he was worried about staffing a ship) while the Dominion built its forces and powered through. In a nail-biting last turn, I scored 100 points because he generously let me rethink where to stick a Dilemma. Best game EVER. |
