Justin Kaufman (CrimsonRavage) Tournament Report - 2E 2014-02-23 - 12:00 PM 2E Ferengi Introduction I brought a Ferengi deck to event 2 in the league playoffs. I'd never played them before, but I figured it was worth a try. Round 1 Jeremy Benedict FL (-95) I was unable to find a ship, which slowed me down considerably. I was unable to get a mission solved. I also messed up with my downloads so I couldn't use Rom to cycle my hand. Jeremy's Dominion deck is a good deck. Round 2 Lillian Chan ML (-35) Lillian was playing cadets. My dilemma pile was able to slow them way down without placing mass amounts of dilemmas underneath it. I had my usual bang my head against a mission before solving it. Round 3 Matthew Hayes FL (-25) I jumped out to a quick lead with bonus points and by solving Falsify Distress Signal, but failed to put enough cards beneath Ferenginar to take the double turn. Matthew solved his two 40 point missions to take the lead. I solved Geological Survey to bring it within 5. A well placed Issue of Trust prevented me from solving on my last turn and Matthew was able to solve out for the full win. Closing Thoughts I really liked how the deck played. I will probably give this deck another shot after some changes.
