Justin Kaufman (CrimsonRavage) Tournament Report - 1E 2014-02-21 - 07:00 PM A sealed deck for a frozen Friday Night Introduction We got together for the first tournament of the weekend. The roads were terrible as we had a ton of snow and ice on them. Round 1 Jeremy Benedict FL (-20) Jeremy was able to get the Horga'hn from his first mission and an early Traveler in play. The only thing that kept me in the game was I stopped his ships 5 times with Loss of Orbital Stability. I was able to keep the game close. Round 2 Bye BY (0) Got the bye. Round 3 Matthew Hayes FL (-15) Matthew and I traded missions early. It was back and forth through most of the game. I made several critical mistakes at the end. I didn't attempt the mission that would have won me the game because I didn't want to be stuck behind the Q-Net. When I did fly back, I didn't dock my ship at the outpost so Matthew flew his ship with the Kurlan Naiskos on it to destroy the last of my people. I also didn't try to give him the Traveler to try and get him to deck out. Closing Thoughts I made some good plays in the first game and some not so good ones in my other.
