Introduction |
small tournament, all others had fun decks only. so I last minute switched to a fun deck, too: an Infestation deck that I'd never played here, built around Arne Darvin. turns out others have conflicting definition of fun... |
Round 1 | | Julius Melhardt | FW (+100) |
Arne Darvin spent the entire game in a Holding Cell. Julian Bashir made killing hard, but some people died anyway. somehow most of them were Officers. I shouldn't have had any shot at winning this one, but with only 1 surviving Officer Julius couldn't solve his initial 2 Officer mission with 10+ overcomes. then Riker got me through most of his skill dilemmas, and I got lucky at random selections, too. 100-5 |
Round 2 | | Peter Machovits | TT (0) |
Arne Darvin spent the entire game in a Holding Cell. AGAIN. ETUs also made killing hard, but some people died anyway. we both struggled through our first mission, and we both got through. time ended before either of us got close to solving another. at least the Pizza was good. 30-30 |
Round 3 | | Martin Felber | FL (-70) |
OMG Ferenginar! no Holding Cell (because 6 DS9 errata). I finally get to use Arne Darvin? of course not, silly Klingon. a Dabo wheel glued to the number 2 makes Infestation piles sad. solved one mission while Dabo generated 13 overcomes. got to draw 1 dilemma all game, which happened to be Inferiority. 30-100 |

Closing Thoughts |
yay. an entire tournament without getting to use the key personnel my deck was built around even ONCE. I HATE Holding Cell. |
