Round 1 | | Michael Van Breemen | FL (-35)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Mirror match! MVB goes first and manages to get 2 missions up on me, but then my deck starts working and gets 2 missions. Game is decided by a coin toss on Kelvan Show of Force: had MVB chosen heads, I'd have solved my third mission. Instead he gets the solve on his next turn. About as close as you can get! |
Guess he was thinking the same thing. I was able to get a turn ahead for the win just before he could. |

Round 3 | | Johannes Klarhauser | FL (-70)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Mirror match! Again, Kelvan Show Of Force is the bane of my existence, as Kaiser manages to kill almost all my Geology people, keeping me from solving Remus. On his side, my dilemmas prove mostly ineffective. |
Mirror match. Matt had the exact same missions, and also had N'vek in there. He played him first, I stopped him at SDM, then used my N'vek to bounce his and draw some. We both made some risky dilemma plays, and in the end my three kills from Kelvan made the difference, because Matt had run out of Geology at one point. |

Round 4 | | Mark Napier | FL (-70) |
Again, a close game, with Squircifer's dilemmas slowing me just enough to take the win. |
|
|
Round 5 | | Markus Eberlein | FW (+70) |
This time I'm able to get through dilemmas with little difficulty, as Markus is going for an achievement dilemma pile. |

Closing Thoughts |
This format really does feel like a sprint! |
