Non-AlignedHirogenOTF Traditional Hellishness
Introduction
1E Traditional was going to be dumb, with tons of DQ and downloading. I couldn't think of a good way to beat them, so I joined them. I took one of Jordan's DQ decks and modified it to be Traditional. Unfortunately for me, I forgot that you can steal missions in 1E and didn't plan for it at all. In spite of adding in extra drawing (thanks Ken), my deck could never draw enough cards.

Round 1Non-AlignedVidiianJon CarterFW (+15)
The turning point in this game was when I solved a mission he'd cleared out, but we both duplicated. After that, I was able to stay ahead of him and get the win. Jon did tell me he made a few key mistakes, which I believe. I really lucked into a win here.

Michael also had problems drawing with his deck and had some bad luck with whom he brought on mission attempts. I was able to get through his combos a little easier, in spite of my own drawing issues, and came out ahead.

Round 3Non-AlignedHirogenDaniel MattesonFW (+20)
Daniel stole one of my missions early (see above about how I never think of this) and I almost conceded right there, but Daniel talked me out of it. I was able to hold him off with a lucky Dead End and solve a mission to get close... and then was able to steal one of his missions in return, even though I'd mis-remembered what combo was there. Did I mention I hate mission stealing?

Round 4HirogenMichael Van BreemenFL (-100)View opponent's Report
Michael stole two of my missions and it was over before it began.

Closing Thoughts
I hate mission stealing. There are a lot of flaws with Traditional 1E.
