CardassianKeeping Up With The Cardassians 13.05.05
Introduction
I've been play testing as much as possible with the new concepts of the TNG Cardassian. It was finally cool to have the WC card that gives them a nice play engine. I still felt it has some minor tweaks too it and I am already working on the next version.

Round 1FederationEric BiecheML (-10)
Eric had his deck built by Moskop. It was a Federation deck that added the Son'a Observatory and Launch the Phoenix in it. Eric's first mission attempt just blew right through my dilemma combo because I picked badly on Chula: The Chandra. I think I drew the one character that shared ALL the same attribute numbers. So I count it on bad luck. I did blow up his Phoenix though (yay Temporal Vortex!) which was rather amusing. I think I focused too much rather than just what I needed to do to get the lead and hold it. Got one mission done, couldn't finish the second before time was up. Would have had it next turn for a MW.

Round 2BajoranTerranMichael MoskopML (-5)
This had to be the worst game I have ever played thus far. I got to encounter my first opponent who used the Mirror Quadrant and he had self-controlled dilemma(s). I wasn't too fimilar with the MQ so I was kind of letting Mike do his own thing. I wasn't sure with the self-controlled dilemmas how they work, but I learned that they do not attack when encountered unless stated. Only at the "End of Every turn." Therefore my ship shouldn't have been blown up and I wouldn't have lost everything. Oh well, future reference. I also miscalculated on a 2nd attempt and was missing 1 MEDICAL when I had him on the outpost anyways for a dilemma wall. So I got stopped, lost one guy, and then had to reattempt the next turn when I could have gone off and tried something else. But my biggest mistake was that Mike went second. Corbin called time and after I finished my turn, I should haven't been so confident. I ended my turn up 70 to 5. I shouldn't have drawn, I should have just downloaded In the Zone and been done with it. In the end, Mike got the 70 points he needed (good for him) and I lost by 5 points. NEVER AGAIN!! (at least I hope not)

Round 3Ben DavisFW (+100)
Ben is a real good friend of mine I've known for like 10 years now. I've started getting him into STCCG so I'm excited. I was up 90 to 0, because Ben got mauled by my combos and he just forfeited as I he was having to leave early. So I am pretty confident I would have finished it off in the next turn or two with a FW anyways.

Closing Thoughts
Overall, the deck has potentional. I definitely seen what I could cut and add. Especially to the draw engine. Already coming up with some crazy ideas to help work on what I need to do to make this deck more effective. But if anything I learned more about myself and what I need to focus on when playing. There's just so much going on in the game that you can't always know or remember what your opponent is doing and throwing at you. Need to focus first on what you're doing and what I need to do to win the game. Not so much of just stopping my opponent and then losing on points.
