Ent E with eXtra help |
Introduction |
Well this was interesting. I found X list was hard to build for because there are a lot of small support cards that are out. Eventually put together and Ent-E deck with Sona and some other NA to supplement. |

Well this was tough. pfti had NA battle going. I have some ablative armor in the deck but couldn't find it till very late in the game. I lost the Ent E once but used flagship recovered to get the CoC Ent D. I sent it to the far end of the spaceline but that probably was a mistake because I had no missions there. Ent-D went down a few turns later, but I before it went, I used wall of ships to get another Ent-E. I managed to solve Evade Borg Vessel but that was it. |
He starts at His free orion slaves, and clears down to an unscientific method wich he lacks the ability to solve, (esp as my tactics drain this skill). ( I blow up the e, he returns it as the D. I clear out the borg plannet, (as I luckily get by the integrity filter wall of the lown first turn. I lose 10 to lack of prep. I then have to wait to get by pale moonluight. At this point my keeps him running. H He attempts eveade borg ship. Gets passed a gomtu, but Is clouded. I then shoot I shoot down the D, but he wall of ships for another E. I clear out another mission. At this point I am able to down his outpost. He attempts insurrection, but dead end stops him. He gets alative and hides at evade till he has the skills to solve (waiting for a Jae for steallar). He is pinned down, unable to move anywhere to solve another mission without losing his ship. and I can grind through the rest of my missions to take the game.
He tried one other with orions and a rouge borg sphere but scientifeic method holds him shrot.
Deck wasn’t super fast, but the combonation of two seeded ships, what does god need with a starships and whatnot make it easy to slow down speedier decks until the clensing can commence.

Round 2 | | Daniel Matteson | FL (-100)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Kicking myself over this game. Cant remember a lot of details except my hand was bad and I used QtR to get a Masaka to reboot the hand. Unfortunately I forgot to get my Ref back and a few turns later after I cleared out a few missions but had trouble finding the skills to solve. Daniel stole about 60 of my point to get the win. A lesson in keeping in mind the format rules especially when outside the norm. |
Hate it. |

Round 3 | | Matthew Zinno | FW (+95)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
This went pretty well. I got Ocular Implants out early and was able to peek at the first seeds and prepare accordingly. Matthew got a really bad hand and had trouble finding people. He busted out Q's planet and I realized I forgot Strategema. I put balancing act under there to see if it would throw him off but he just charged right in and got points from a self seed dilemma and his artifact. He really got backed up when he hit a combo after the first dilemma of The weak will perish followed by In the Pale Moonlight. The spaceline got set up in a way that he had trouble using Zef's magic peeking scope and when he did he saw a some combos that made him rethink his plans. Felt like I finally got the deck working well in this game. |
Yowza, never have I had such bad drawing like I had in this game. In my other games and all my test draws, I was able to play 1-2 personnel consistently for the first many turns. This time, I had none in my opening hand, and only about 6 more in the next 7 turns. Still, I scraped together enough to solve Q's Planet (worrying about the 1 dilemma that JP put under there; turned out to be Balancing Act 'cause he thought QP unbalanced me), and eventually threw 7 at a mission attempt for Investigate Raid -- but I lost 5 of them to WeakWillPerish. Meanwhile, JP's Son'a/EE teams had plenty of time to build forces and get through my dilemmas. Invasive Procedures stalled him because he waited out the countdown, and he lost 2 people to MUG and 4 people to Spatial Rifts, but retained plenty and started passing Rift with Geordi+Joachim. |

Closing Thoughts |
X list is a pain and i will probably avoid it for a while. Getting the civil war tent and tribunal definitely helped things be more balanced but still had to be mindful of the strategies that can come back with some of the ban listed cards becoming legal again. |
