Neil Timmons (ntimmons) Tournament Report - 2E Standard 2009-10-17 - 06:00 PM Ferengi Fun Introduction This was a small little tournament where only George, Susan, Charlie & myself showed up, however they are all really great people, so we had a really great time. Round 1 Charlie Beam FW (0) I did not catch my Historical Research download, but I did manage a first turn rule 6. Rule 6 makes Ferengi go super duper fast. I was able to complete both of my missions and Tongo for 20 points and finish right after George finished his first mission. Round 2 George Meadows FW (0) This was George's experimental Bajoran deck, where he thought he had enough ships but didn't. It also didn't help that I caught a first turn Rule 6 against him as well. I was over and done with my missions very quickly. Side note, when I was Tongoing for the win, I had Ishka'ed Rule 141 on top to make sure I would win, and he coughed up a 7, so had I been content with the 6's I usually use it wouldn't have worked. Round 3 Susan Meadows FW (0) Susan was playing a speedy TNG deck, but I caught Rule 6 early against her as well. I just flat out-paced the TNG crew spending upwards of 14-23 counters per turn (when you factor in the 6-7 card draws w/ Rule 6, then twice selling Rule 141 for 9 counters). I finished Tongo early and was able to wrap up my missions before she finished her second mission.
