FerengiACP Ferengi Hoarder Deck
Introduction
I vamped up my Ferengi acquisition deck by pulling out a few tricks to make things run more efficiently. I typically drew cards more efficiently, but surprisingly did not use my Ferenginar as much as I'd like.

Round 1TOSZach RigoleFW (+100)
Zach needs to spend more time with his deck. There were several occasions where I flat out knew he had personnel whose text would stop my dilemmas. But I also knew he would forget, so stopping him was pretty simple. He's plays a bit too carefully, which is likely another side effect of not knowing his own deck very well.

Round 2StarfleetScott BaughmanFL (-100)View opponent's Report
Scott ripped me apart. At one point it looked like I might get a mission, but he denied my 'Rule of Acquisition #33' interrupt with a 'Grav Plating Trap' just before finishing the annihilation. It's a good deck! And I was proud of Scott for not giving me the mission.

Round 3BorgMike Camp SrFL (-20)
Let's just say I hate being 'One With the Borg.' I had the upper hand by a lot for most of this game, and then in the last 15 minutes Mike managed to come from behind and slaughter me. My Ferengi did well to duck through a lot of what he threw at me, and it wasn't until his third assimilation that he managed to snag someone with Acquisition. But as soon as he had Acquisition, it was more difficult to throw dilemmas against him. At the very end, he threw three 'One With the Borg' cards and slammed through two missions to beat me cold. His deck clearly needs some work since it took him a while to get there, but he still beat me.

Round 4KlingonMichael ParrishML (-10)
Michael chooses his dilemmas well. Even through he doesn't skill-track particularly well, he still knows how to throw combinations of dilemmas that will stop you cold. This loss, however, was my fault. At Planet Moon, on my last turn as the time ran out, I used a Ferengi computer to unstop Rom (Geology) rather than Kol because there was one dilemma left to face and I had only sent two Geology personnel (Par Lenor was the other). Unfortunately, I was working hastily an failed to realize that Kol was the only personnel with Astrometrics I had sent down. I sailed through the final dilemma, but since Kol was stopped, I couldn't complete the mission. Michael complete a mission in his next turn, jumping ahead of me by enough to win.

Round 5KlingonRachel LewisFW (+100)
Rachel has been out of the game for a while, and it does show a bit. She seemed hesitant to use her Klingon attack deck to attack. I played defensively, expecting her to fly over and engage at any point, which slowed me down. She never did attack, and I won fairly easily. Her dilemma pile is decent, though. She has a good deck and will be someone to watch once she spends more time with her cards.

Closing Thoughts
I did draw the cards I wanted more quickly, but it's still a hit or miss deck. I can usually pull through when I miss, but the time it takes to recover allows any experienced player to wrap up before I even get started. I know a few cards I'd like to add, as well as a few that can be taken out or replaced. It will be interesting to see how this deck evolves and teaches me about other affiliations. That's one thing the Ferengi does well: adapt. And by adapting, I learn more about the other affiliations - and especially the other players - each time I play.
