Tyler Fultz (DJstormtrooper) Tournament Report - 2E Standard 2011-04-09 - 12:00 PM Mr. President, the launch codes... Introduction This tournament was a little strange. Tjark, being confined due to his house thanks to a killer virus, offered to Skype into the tournament. We therefore decided to play 4 rounds, even though we only had 5 people. This tournament is a good reminder of why I don't play speed decks- there's always someone faster. Round 1 Kathleen Fultz FW (+15) Katie was playing her draw deck fairly well; I was playing terrible. Luckily I managed to one complete both my missions in a single turn. After that I waited to get my Bat'Qul points, but she managed to beat me thanks to 2 having 40-point missions. From there, I had to go for a third mission and got in time. Round 2 Chris Fleming FW (+65) Chris is still working with his TOS deck and looking for his first win. I managed to play a little better this time and actually get the bonus points that I needed for the two mission win. Round 3 Thomas Schneider FL (-55) Oh, Starfleet, it's been so long since we all lost to you... Thomas started the game by cancelling two Energizes and a Bustling with Activity. This was not a good start. I never really recovered and this was compounded by losing McCoy to Hard Time at Seek Savior. On his side of the table, he ran the script perfectly and I forgot about his Charles Tucker to give him a auto-complete of his 3rd mission. Round 4 Bye BY (0) Bye!
