...wait for it... |
Introduction |
I went into Gen Con with the hopes of at least winning a couple of games to increase my rating. I knew I would have to play something decent, so I decided to build a Klingon download deck. |
|
Round 1 | | Sean O'Reilly | FW (+35) |
I wasn't getting any of my download tricks going so I just went ahead and bulldozed my way through my missions. |

Round 2 | | Michael Van Breemen | FL (-100)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I figured Michael would have some crazy gimmick deck that I wouldn't be able to figure out how to stop. I was right. |
K'mtar two-mission win which worried me since such a deck usually infers Hinderance and that is bad. Taking out K'tal with Holding Cell and Energize with Grav helped keep it able close and that's when Dukat showed up. With Dukat taking out Bareil and Rule 141, I knew I had to go for it so I went and solved my missions for the win. |
|
Round 3 | | Jason Beyer | FW (+35) |
This was a real tough game. Jason had the lead through most of it, but I stopped him at his last mission with Greater Needs and was able to pull off a victory after time was called. It was a good thing I went second. |

Round 4 | | Michael Moskop | FW (+100)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Michael was having a tough day by this point. I do not remember much from this game. |
I got cadet screwed and ship screwed and Brian was running at full speed. There was nothing I could do. I was in my head and making stupid mistakes contributed to my loss as well. |
|
Round 5 | | Nicholas Yankovec | FL (-55) |
It was great to meet Nick. The game was tough for me since he destaffed my ship and I was unable to get a new ship until it was too late. My major accomplishment was when I hit him with Casual Recursion to force him to attempt two 40 point missions. |
