DominionBrown Speed 1.1
Introduction
I wasn't planning on playing in this event but we would've had a bye each round so I decided to play my Dominion deck.

Round 1ByeBY (0)
There was just one actual game this round as everyone else had a bye of some kind.

Round 2TNGDS9Sean O'ReillyFW (+95)
The same decktype that beat me in the online regional... But unlike that tournament, I had Provoke Interstellar so I got the extra turn. Unfortunately, he went first so he got out OT Kirk and some other stuff. I dropped two turns worth of people (Crom, couple of Mr. 0-cost Jem, Keevan, Ruafo, Founder Leader and a couple others.) He played some Common Grounds so I got Ikat'ika and Draz I think so on my 3rd turn, I went out and attempted. By the time he had gotten a ship out with people for an attempt, I put two dilemmas under to deal with his Kirk. I had gotten two missions solved before he made his second attempt (playing Field Studies to put two more under) He attempted with more than four so I had gotten two more dilemmas under to prevent the solve. Before he could attempt again, I solved Survey New World for the win. Micro-teaming the planets were key in this game and, if I recalled correctly, I had only one Audacious Assault in play at the end. Sean was the only one who scored points against me (Loaded to Bear)

Round 3MaquisJoseph BazemoreFW (+100)
I was worried about Strange New Worlds and Biogenic Weapon events so I was hoping that I could get my space mission solved before that could get started. While I did have event destruction (Founder Leader), I didn't want to count on it. I had Mr. 0-cost Jem, 1 Audacious and two Jem'Hadar on turn 1 which allowed me to draw into Crom. 2nd turn was Crom which got Founder Leader, Gelnon and I think Inglatu. He wasn't getting many people but had a number of events on his missions (He was using Qatal Prime) for a two mission win. I went out with 9 people to space and he drew like five or six planet dilemmas, solving the mission in one attempt so we went to the next planet, failing but getting some dilemmas under. I stopped three of his attempts (Dead Ringer for the first attempt thanks to Tuvok not matching any skill in his discard pile, then back to back Nothing to Lose) I got a lot of speed in this game with the three Parena's getting essentially three free plays just for playing them.

Round 4BorgEric RFW (+100)
I wasn't expecting Borg but I did kill every Vorta and Cardassian in my deck this game. I did have my best opening hand start in this game - 2 Audacious Assaults, Party Atmosphere, Crom and a ship, can't remember the rest. I ended the turn with 7 people in play. On his first turn, he drops four events so I can't get him to discard anything from his hand unfortunately. Seeing the Particle 010, I take that out, sacrificing Keevan in the process. I attempt on turn 3 with 9 (Founder Leader stopped on the ship), but he gets lucky that I have a Science as he gives me DNA Clues (Ru'afo) and then Tsikovsky so that's three people, two of the Mr. 0 Cost Jem and someone else. Now that I know what kind of pile it is, I start stockpiling my microteam group and managed to somehow get through Provoke without more significant death. He attempts, putting a number of people into his discard pile with the interlinking which makes my Parena's happy. He attempts I didn't get any walls so I play Becalmed (he had Ent-J plus a Computation drone, stopping three) and something else (not sure what it was.) I killed both Gelnon's to take out his Ent-J along with Particle 010 and started sending sacrificial lambs to my mission attempts along with. I even sacrificed Broca to put a dilemma under Survey New World. Turn that I solve, I played the Defiant to move a dilemma under Survey New World for the win. He doesn't get a mission solved as I stopped him on subsequent turns with both In Developments, Coolant Leak and Nothing to Lose.

Round 5DominionMaggie GeppertFW (+100)
Mirror-match although we have four of the five missions the same. She wins the first two times on Tactical Disadvantage but I managed the times I got to play it (The other five ships in my deck were in my hand which beat her three ships, unreal.) Another unreal situation - She plays Dragon Teeth and hits two copies of my Mr. 0-cost Jem'hadar. However, she's getting enough people stopped each time without use of walls that she couldn't use Bridge Officer's Test. I managed to get through the last mission, thanks to Defiant moving a dilemma over and Broca being selected for Ominous Presence. She had gotten Skeleton Crew on all of my missions.

Closing Thoughts
No one solved a mission against this deck. The most people I had in play on turn 1 was seven with a total cost of around 20 without spending more than 7 counters on the turn. I got card draws from the HQ which was a turn's worth of counters (Jem'hadar, Vorta, Cardassian, Founder, Dosi, Human and Sona, sometimes multiple for the species if a species died which happened a lot for the Vorta) This is not counting the extra draws from playing and returning the 1-cost Ritual (sometimes returning the Ritual for free if Party Atmosphere is out. I would not be surprised to see this at Worlds if something isn't done about it.
