Introduction |
If I remember correctly, everyone had the Triple Treaty. Now, if I only had more Diplomacy... |

Round 1 | | Johannes Klarhauser | FW (+95)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I stole and I continued to steal his missions but just the universal ones. This was due to a belief that this was an OTF tournament and not an Open tournament. |
MVB was playing straight Federation with some NA support. He had Geordi out early, Suna soon after, and breezed through two missions on the first go. Myself, I had great skills in play, but none of my high-Integrity guys would show up, so I couldn't do my two Integrity missions despite having 8 personnel out. So I decided to hunt MVBs ship down the spaceline. "hailed" me to prevent the battle, then complete his third mission, turned around, hopped aboard a new ship at his outpost, and stole the planet mission I had started clearing. Excellent play by Michael, FL 5-100. |

Round 2 | | Michael Moskop | FL (-10)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
It's not OTF? I could've used my Senior Staff Meeting and my Scan in this game but more importantly, I could've used way more Diplomacy as he was rocking Q-Nets. I ditched STP/Wormhole to get around one but was locked away from my outposts for the rest of the game. Instead I sat around and waited for Michael to win. |
I admit that part of this win was because MVB thought the tournament was OTF and not Open. The other winning factor was that he was very low on Diplomacy and my Q-Nets definitely shut him down for multiple turns, giving me the time I needed to complete my missions. |

Round 3 | | Peter Ludwig | FW (+53) |
Time Travel Pod. Seriously?!!? Thankfully, my dilemmas were rocking enough that I could come back from the five turns locked away to come back with the win. |
|
|
Round 4 | | Meinhard S. Rohr | FL (-55) |
One person away from passing Conundrum which would've turned this game completely around despite making most of my dilemmas useless with all space missions. Instead it became an easy win for him. |

Every 1E sealed deck and I'm lacking Diplomacy... |
