Kazon for all of them |
Introduction |
Kazon was the only affiliation that I hadn't won yet so I decided to try it - Get a Maje, ideally Razik (second Geology) for Process Ore: Mining (downloaded by Taking Charge thanks to my Maje) and, with the Taking Charge bonus, I could get an Honor personnel into play without using my ASP download (necessary if I'm going first and to get around General Quarters.) Download Seven of Nine with QIR to get free people into play with Nanoprobe. After that, try to not get people killed. |

Round 1 | | Justin Ford | FW (+4) |
Justin was playing Hirogen with a two-mission win with Genesis Device on Restore Victims. It took me forever to get Empathy to pass four of the six options of Quantum Incursions and Kobyashi took away my mission specialist, depriving me of points there. Meanwhile, he made it through his space mission with a mission specialist and, if he had played Genesis Device on Restore Victims, he would've won. All the same, he was at 95 points and I was at 44 points but I downloaded Disguise Encroachment to the mission next to his space mission for a 10 point swing and the lead. The fact that he blew up my ship (which I promptly got back thanks to a Nanoprobe) I didn't mind as there was no one on the ship. Justin still almost got the win but Gomtuu flung the ships away so that they couldn't re-attempt. |

Round 2 | | Kenneth Tufts | FW (-94) |
Ken was running his Dominion/Ferengi/all DS9 deck which draws a ton but has 13 dilemmas so I went with mission attempts on turn 2 and had solved four missions while he was stuck on an Emergent Lifeform ship. |

Round 3 | | Amber Van Breemen | FW (+100) |
I stole her Quantum Singularity because I'm a bad person. After that, it was all about getting through two missions (drawing three Science and Medical to get through two Scientific Methods for the win. |
