Tournament Report - 2E - Deep Space 9 Regional |

Introduction |
Decided to try out a straight up DS9 deck that I made for the IL regional but shelved at the last minute to play TOS there. |
|
Round 1 | | Ben Paulsen | MW (0) |
Ben started playing a bunch of shifty Romulans to start, but the true terror behind this deck was its Point Denial, having almost never run into Causal Recursion and the Phoenix I was not sure how to handle it. My dilemmas did their job fair enough, and picked on a few Romulan skill gaps to lock in the MW at 100 points. |

Round 2 | | Brian Leonard | FW (0)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Brian got off to a good start playing Voy with the Doctor and Janeway aboard right at the start, however, On his first attempt at Caretakers Array he ate a Where no One has gone Before and got stalled out for an entire turn of nothing. Things played out fairly standardly from there, but his lack of having an Ent-J out for Omega Particle really gave him a rough time, even with some successful field studies. |
I had problems finding one of my Enterprise-J's so I had no chance here. |
|
Round 3 | | Eric Bieche | FL (0) |
Eric was running what I think was the same deck he had at the IL regionals. Though something about Iowa seemed to supercharge him. Anyway, I fumbled about deciding how to tackle him and stall myself a little bit. While he just charged off to his first mission. I really should have sloaned away his Sight for Sore Eyes early on, which would have helped abit. Also had a derpy moment forgetting to complete a mission. But still, Eric played a solid game and took the Win. |

Round 4 | | Jeremy Huth | FW (0) |

Closing Thoughts |
I feel that running ToS would have been the better call, As I didn't see any of the decks I thought I would. and the general speed advantage would have been much better to have.
Though George Primmin is a absolute beast. |
