Round 1 Joseph Wisniewski MW (+25)View opponent's ReportView original Report Sadly, I didn't log this game for some reason, but it ran to time with me ahead so 85-60. I recall it being a fairly straight-forward TOS Klingon deck that played well, but I was able to get my Black Hole early and stall him. I do recall this being a close game. My deck is too slow I am afraid so a 140 win might not be reachable anyhow. Sadly I don't remember a lot about this game either. Round 2 Niall Matthew FL (-100) Niall plays a TOS Fed deck with Neutral Zone Region space line vs. my DQ space line. Niall starts to Red shirt on Turn 2 but is halted by Chula: Pick One to Save Two. Turn 3 he plays his second Strategic Sector and passe C:P1TS2 and is stopped by Chula: The Way Home....a pattern emerges? Turn 4 another strategic sector. Despite my keeping up with the draws with my Romantic Pairs, I am not getting as many people into play and I feel the the game slipping away. He passes C:TWH and is stopped by Ferengi Infestation so thankfully my combo has taken 3 turns but I have yet to even begin an attempt. Finally during turn 5 my Romantic draw nets me a Black Hole, 1 of 9. Turn 5 Strategic Sector... He completes Seek Remnants for 35 and proceeds to Investigate Decaying Radiation and this leads to a Cardassian Trap followed by The Nexus and Dead End. Turn 6, another Strategic Sector and he moves to another mission and hits Chula: The Dice, Chula: The Drink, and Garak Has Some Issues. Clearly I am no longer slowing him down. Turn 7 I finally get to play War Council despite plenty of Revised Treachery and Holodeck Door in a Leonardo Da Vinci with Mona Lisa for some insurance. I run into One to One and reveal Tuvok for Cunning 9 alas he reveals Artificial Intelligence for Cunning 15. He then volunteers one of his Hidden Agendas is QIR which is uses to DL TAI, but he drew into it early and didn't need to use it. 40 to -5 as a result. Edo Probe stops me and the Left Space is eaten by the Black Hole. His turn 7 is quiet, Strategic Sector and Garak Issues are cured. Turn 8 I hit Altonian Brain Teaser, Rules of Obedience, and Misinterpreted History, then Buried Alive. His turn 8...NO Strategic Sector, lol! He solves and end his turn. 75 to -5. I play War Council and promptly hit Experience Bij! which was hiding under the Edo Probe, then move and hit Dead End, clearing Bij. I then hit a Lack of Preparation for -10, and remove the other Space via the Black Hole... I am about ready to crawl in there myself. His turn 9 ends the game for a 100-0 finish. Thankfully negative points are not counted. Round 3 Bye BY (+100) Bye Nothing to see Here. Closing Thoughts Ironic that MVB and I played similar decks, but never faced off. Not sure if I am starting to get into his head or he into mine?
