Making some green and brown cash |
Introduction |
Played a Commodity Dual HQ deck. What makes it fairly interesting is that each personnel has Acquisition and the dilemma pile has three copies of Unwanted Guests. |

Round 1 | | Sean O'Reilly | FL (-100)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Sean had a Klingon deck with Kruge. In addiiton to the normal reasons why this was bad, Kruge had Acquisition, so he was a nice target for He Wasn't Nice. I managed to slow him down with my Unwanted Guests, but not enough to score. |
Ross really slowed me down with Unwanted Guests. I ended up facing it one three successive mission attempts. The problem was that forced him to discard the only personnel from his hand which slowed down the number of personnel he got into play.
Ross helped my 8-cost dilemmas by putting Commodity events in my core. |

Round 3 | | Derrick Marsh | FL (-25)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Derek was using my borrowed Virtual Cardassian Deck. I was able to perform admriably, getting missions solved and all, but not enough to win the game. Had I prevented him from solving his third mission, I would have had it! |
This was funny playing Ross with the deck he lent me. I had trouble getting ships again, at least a ship I didn't already have in play. Groumall is a great card, but not when you draw it as your only ship. He took an early lead and I was trying to play catch up. I finally got another ship and divided my ranks into two teams and attempted two missions my last three turns. I had stocked up on all three of my Central Commands in my hand just so I could blow through everything if needed. I had 10 cards in deck on my last turn. I managed to finish off one mission and then fly them over to the other team. Again I just redshirted with a lot of guys to put as many missions underneath as possible. Then sent in my team of six to solve it and when he had stopped two of my guys, I Central Commanded past his one dilemma and had 35 cunning to the needed 34 cunning to win the game...woot woot! |

Round 4 | | James Booker | FL (-90) |
The was the second time in sucessive tournaments that we played with these decks! His TNG Speedster continued to do well, gettign a two mission win before I could get on the board. |

Closing Thoughts |
Although my deck didn't perform well, my other deck (also not originally mine) did well. I'll keep them both around as they have their strengths, are fairly easy to use and are fun to play. |
