TNGAn almost two mission win Chairman's Challenge deck
Introduction
I'd been playing with a deck for sometime that was a "12" card deck. That is, there were only 12 different cards in it (but there were up to 3 copies of each) to make a true bare minimum deck. I tweaked this to be a normal bare minimum deck and this is what it ended up being. Also, if I were to remove the historical research, the deck could have been a chairman's challenge deck too. I'm shocked it went 2 and 1 but my opponents always bring fierce competition.

Round 1BajoranMaggie GeppertFW (+90)
Maggie brought a Bajoran Resistance deck. I had not faced one before. I found it quite interesting. It sees she was waiting for just the right people to go start attempting. I managed to get a quick start with some early common grounds getting some expensive 4 and 6 cost guys out relatively early. Luckily, on two of the three common grounds, Maggie's hand was short personnel. I believe I was able to get soliton wave done with two attempts with a staffed ship and picard in the crew and mission accomplished out for a total of 55 points on that mission. We moved to geological survey on the same turn but I forget if I was able to solve that turn. I did manage to eventually solve it with a staffed ship, picard in crew, and mission accomplished out (and 2 geology in the mission attempt) for an additional 50 points. Unfortunately, maggie had only had a handful of mission attempts and had not solved a mission. I feel bad because after my first mission attempt at soliton I forgot that my Ezri Tegan had been stopped by a dilemma and I didn't give it to Maggie immediately. I didn't realize the gaff until my next turn. She says she may have attempted a mission had she had the Ezri to use on her turn. We corrected it as soon as we figured it out but it may have been the swing that could have helped her at least get one mission done that game.

Round 2KlingonBrian LeonardFL (-45)View opponent's Report
Brian's angry (or rather, download intensive) klingons were in full swing. I, playing bare minimum, didn't stock the rituals or the ceremony so Brian's downloading fun stuff went unchecked. I also have no event destruction in the deck. IIRC, I managed to pull of soliton with Tallera in crew (and Picard and staffed) for a total of 55 points. however, for me to win with this deck in two missions, I need to have the enterprise staffed and with matching commander aboard at geological survey (and have two geo in the away team). This is where me packing TCS bit me in the ass. I went (foolishly) to attempt geo survey with all my guys (8 or so) after solving soliton and all but 4 of my guys died because of some whiney girl with long fingers (Whispers). Although the enterprise was still staffable, I couldn't play enough guys to staff the enterprise and attempt with 6 people. The previous attempt had put 4 dilemmas under, so I would have been able to do an attempt of 5 and still be staffed... but it was not to be. Brian finished the game before I could finish my second mission. final note: I didn't want to do 3 missions. Brian was doing two missions as well. I thought I'd get the guys I'd need to do the two mission win first but eh.

Round 3KlingonEdward PigmanFW (+30)
Ed's klingons were of a quite different tone. There were a lot of 2 cost-ers floating around where as brian had only personnel who cost 3 or more (at least in play). That helped fuel some of my dilemmas which helped. I managed to get soliton done with 55 points (With Tallera? not sure). Ed went for a 3 mission win and was really close to winning. He would have won on the next turn for sure.
